The lecture method is one of the most commonly used methods of teaching. It is a method of teaching whereby the teacher attempts to explain facts, principles, or relationships to help students to understand. Lecture method can be suitably used to teach the above-mentioned situations of Mathematics: Lecture method is a teacher-centered method in which the teacher delivers lectures on different topics. These topics don't require such understanding and calculation which couldn't be possible by lectures only. The teacher talks more or less continuously to the class. The class listens, writes, and notes facts and ideas for remembering and to think them over later. The teacher is an active participant, the students are passive listeners. Usually, the students do not converse with the teacher during the lecture by the teacher. Hence, we can conclude that the 'Lecture method' can be effectively used to teach those situations of mathematics. Additional Information Project method It is a method that emphasizes the voluntary participation of students by working in a group to complete a specific project. It ensures the transmission of practical knowledge to students and active learning by the mutual co-operation of a group of peers. Problem-solving method It is a method that emphasizes the learner's active involvement in the learning process. In this method, teachers create a problematic situation for students and then assist them in perceiving, defining, and stating the problems in a fear-free classroom environment.
