Chanhudaro (Sindh, Pakistan) was a city without a citadel in the Indus Valley Civilization. Dholavira was known as the only site to be divided into three parts. The largest Harappan inscription for civic purposes was found here. Lothal (Gujarat, India) was a dockyard during the Indus Valley Civilization and an instance of double burial (burying a male and female in a single grave) has also been found in this site.
