The mathematics curriculum should be designed in a way that relates classroom earning to real-life experiences. ​​Hence, we conclude that school mathematics should take place in a situation where mathematics is a part of children's life experience and children use abstraction to perceive relationships and structure in mathematics. Whereas memorization should not be promoted in the classroom as it promotes rote learning and discourages children from real learning.
